PAINFUL Bee Package Install

I almost didn't publish this video because the videography is just horrendous, but I feel like this can serve to show the multitude of things that can go wrong during a fairly mundane task while beekeeping. In the end, everything worked out. The bees are successfully installed! *Disclaimer*-- I'm not claiming to be a professional beekeeper. Anything I do in this video may be wrong. I make these videos to share my experiences with beekeeping. Issues Faced & Lessons: Quicker than expected shipping- Call the post office the moment you get an email or text saying that your bees are on their way so the post office is not caught off guard. Also have everything prepared well in advance so you aren't rushed. Bad bee packages- Do your research on a company and check reviews. I have never had issues with the company I got bees from this year in the past, but I don't think I will be ordering bees from them again. Bee stings- Wear a ballcap under a fencing mask and make sure there are no holes in your clothing.
