Paint a Funky Teapot

I found this wooden teapot (really an urn in the shape of a teapot) just after Mackenzie Childs had passed... which led me to want to paint it taking some inspiration from her definitive style. However, it took a little time for me to work up my courage... painting a lot of lines, and diamonds is not really my 'thing'... maybe it's the math that's involved or perhaps the need to paint a straight line...??? But, as I continued to stare at the piece...sitting with the rest of my 'project' thrifted finds... I decided it was time to jump on in. Trying something outside of your comfort zone is never a bad thing. It might not become you new 'favourite' activity (though it just might!) but it will always provide you with a few learning opportunities along the way! Know that you don't need to wait until you find a wooden teapot - I just don't think they come along very frequently! - but a real one will do just fine!
