Painting a model railroad backdrop - sky, clouds, and hills

Charlie Comstock, contributing editor at Model Railroad Hobbyist magazine, demonstrates how he paints backdrops on his Bear Creek & South Jackson HO scale model railroad. Charlie likes his clouds amorphous so he creates them using an airbrush. He keeps the hills simple - an outline of a distant ridge topped with trees mixed with clear cuts using latex house paint.
