Pan de Campo Recipe:
Preheat oven to 400 or use a 12 inch Dutch oven
2 cups of sifted all purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
Mix dry ingredients together well
Half stick of butter cut in with a fork
3/4 - 1 cup of milk
Add milk mix well and make into dough
Roll out to about a half inch thick making into a large round flat bread. Punch holes in top with a fork. Bake for about 20 minutes and enjoy
You can substitute the butter for bacon grease or lard.

You can substitute for milk with water or buttermilk.
