Their first recording session dates back to a legendary weekend in 1998, when Wushu (of Ghostly Goblins), Jahs (of Earth Shakes), Lawjik, Airborn & Hyphen Select (of Humanoidz) first met up to make music together and recorded "Devils Wrath" & "Keys" which sparked the flame to ignite "Parallel" (Mindstates). After that, members from 5 separate California rap groups - Centa Cercle, Earth Shakes, Ghostly Goblins, Humanoidz & Visionary Force, joined forces to make this first official release in 1999, titled Digital Wasteland (aka The Yellow Tape). A total of 1000 cassettes were made (The original cover is the orange controlled robot design. The second cover is the purple border abstract design. Then special edition covers including the scientist and others with additional artwork, liner notes etc were also made but very limited copies of those cassettes exist). Keys (Remix) is shown on the tracklisting but isn't actually on the tape.
