This video shows me doing the parallel park using a
1/2 : 1 : 1/2 method of steering because the space behind me was very big and is much easier to control the speed of the turn.
Remember that whatever method you use it is not set in stone and you can tweak it by moving the wheel whilst reversing if you feel it will help.
Try to avoid dry steering as this damages the car and tyres but sometimes it is necessary especially when reversing into a tiny space and not being able to do it just by reverse alone.
