This is a result from a Master thesis written by Magnus Skogsfjord and Christoffer Rognseth at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. The project was done in collaboration with Wärtsilä Ship Design and Summit Norway.
The video demonstrates a result of a parametrically controlleg geometry of a PSV hull, where we've used NX with a combination of advanced modelling tools, expressions and PTS to make an intuitive and easy interface. This allows basically any user, even inexperienced NX-users, to open up and make radical or detailed changes to the hull design.
