Paramore - Breathe (Studio Remaster)

Often incorrectly cited as "Breathe (Until Tomorrow)", "Breathe" is a piano-led demo, with music and lyrics written by Josh Farro. It was likely written in between 2004 and 2005, as the band has mentioned it as one of their earlier songs. Jason Bynum, Paramore's founding rhythm guitarist is also credited with playing on the song. Bynum left the band in 2006. This demo was leaked in 2006 on LiveJournal, presumably in the pmorelostsongs private community. The band was apprehensive about their audience hearing it, with Zac saying "...who knows, we may use Breathe or something but it's not the way we want it right now." with Josh chiming in that "We'd rather you hear a new version," and "We don't want people to get too attached to it." Hayley was also concerned about judgement of the track, mentioning on LiveJournal that "you weren't meant to have it yet, although i'm very glad you liked it." The only available version of this song is extremely compressed, noticeably more than the other demos that have leaked over the years. Because of this song's elusiveness, and its high regard amongst Paramore fans, I attempted to remaster/remix the song. I used some enhancing algorithms on the whole track, and then again once I separated the stems. I then brought the multitracks into my DAW and EQ'd/mixed them to sound similar to a AWKIF-era track. As you can probably tell, it certainly isn't perfect, but hopefully this mix sounds closer to what a "studio version" would sound like. At the very least, it's certainly cleaner-sounding.
