Here's a video of me playing "Now" by Paramore. Recorded with Zoom H6, SM57 on snare, and AKG D112 in the kick. Drums are Odery customs with wood hoops. Snare is a 9x14 Yamaha Maple Custom that once belonged to Elvin Jones! Remo Emporor coated on toms. Ambassador X14 on snare. Powerstroke Pro on BD batter. EMAD on BD reso. Cymbals are Dream Energy, Meinl byzance, and Sabian HHX legacy hats. Sticks are zildjian laminated birch heavy jazz. Slight EQ and compression applied but the sound is pretty close to what it sounded like straight from the mic. Pardon the décor. This is my basement practice space. That green couch acts as a great baffle preventing slap back on the kick haha!
