This video demonstrates a long term battery drain test taught by Adam Robertson. Low amp probes are great tools but they can drift and rely on a 9v battery to create their output signal so they need to be recalibrated and otherwise monitored to ensure accuracy. By using a fixed resistor, in this case a 1/10 ohm (0.1 ohm) and measuring the voltage drop across it a test can be set up for a very long period of time. This video also demonstrates whether a concern about where the key FOB is kept is valid for owners of similar vehicles to the 2021 Mazda CX-30. Some have been led to believe that the car constantly looks for the key, this video does answer if that is the case or not.
