Three individuals, together with their families and helpers who have tried to cope in ways which at first may be very different. We note the need to plan well ahead. They all find they have difficulty in coping with stress; they each keep on using some of the skills acquired in the past; their helpers aim to help and not ‘take over’ tasks with the variation in the condition and the uncertainty which this brings.
