PARMESAN CRISPS
Ah yes...Our time in The Farm Stand Kitchen is always fun! Today we are baking a savory cookie from our All Cookie Cookbook. Excellent for a charcuterie board, or just plain ol snacking! We love em! Check out our website for our spices, books, candles, melts, skincare and all the Farm Stand Merch! 👇 https://www.thefarmstandkitchen.com/our-shop PARMESAN CRISPS 3/4 cup all-purpose flour 3/4 cup grated Parmesan Cheese Pinch of salt 2 pinches of Farm Stand Kitchen Pepper Trio 5 Tablespoons salted butter, cold 1-2 Tablespoons water EGG WASH 1 egg 1-2 Tablespoon water TOPPING Farm Stand Herb Seasoning Assorted fresh herbs, chopped Seeds, as desired LETS MAKE IT- Preheat oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside. In a food processor, ( or use a bowl and pastry blender), add flour, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Pulse, or mix to form coarse crumbs. Drizzle in water, 1 T. at a time till a soft, but shaggy dough forms. Gather up and transfer to a lightly floured board and roll out to 3/8 inch thickness. Make small 1 inch circles using a small cookie cutter (see notes). Place them on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle with Herb Seasoning, or your desired topping. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Store covered. Make 14 crisps NOTES: 1. Great for a charcuterie board! 2. The cookie cutters that I used today are JOKUMO fluted edge round cookie cutter set. 3. Get creative!
