0:00 Guide 1:52 Build 2:20 P1 Skip 3:30 P1 Skip Build *Important Notes!* - You must repeat Guard Up + Egide to stay in Defensive Stance (Egide + skip or Egide + Egide will make Maelle Stanceless). - Mark wears off after five Simon's turns, so better to cast Marking Shot with Verso instead of skipping. - Equip Healing Fire + Burning Mark + Longer Burn + Powerful Mark + Healing Boon + Energizing Burn + Energizing Powerful + Rewarding Mark and shoot to heal (you'll get APs back). Shoot twice: first to apply Burn and Powerful, then to trigger Healing Fire. (Note that these heals are not shared via Healing Share.) - Powerful (Skill) heals Maelle thanks to Healing Boon. If you equipped high-Health Pictos on Maelle (as in the video), that's the best way to heal her with Verso. Otherwise, Perfect Recovery + Healing Share also heals her (proportionally to Verso's HP). - You can remove SOS Shell, not needed. *Build Notes* - Auto Shell and Energizing Start on Maelle to be safer during the first attack. - Same reason why Verso has defensive Luminas and Pictos, even though he won't parry after the first attack. - Double Mark and Stay Marked on Maelle, so she can heal when she counters. However, *do not jump attack if Maelle is at full HP* (you'll waste a heal and remove Enfeebling Mark, unless Simon has Shields). - Energizing Pain because Maelle already gets Shields with parrying: she parries → Shield (safe for next hit), she misses → AP (will trigger Defensive Mode on next hit). - Rush on Powerful on Verso to apply Greater Rush with his Powerful Skill. - Clea's Life on Verso to make Simon gather Chroma around him as well. However, this will happen only after you run out of Healing Tint, when Maelle won't be at full HP (Simon gathers Chroma around the character with the most HP). - Regarding the one-shot build, it is worth noting that Sciel and Monoco gain Gradient Charges with Burning Mark + Powerful Mark + Charging Mark + Charging Burn + Charging Alteration + SOS Power. - SOS Power will always be triggered on one of them, because Simon will never gather Chroma around Lune (she starts at 1 HP thanks to Auto Death + Survivor). *NG+5 Notes* - Simon deals 750-1,150 per hit to Maelle (different attacks deal different damage). His hits can also be critical. - Let's make an average: 950 average damage per hit, that becomes a bit less than 1,200 accounting for criticals. - Simon on NG+5 has x4 ATK, so will hit x4 harder: 4,800 per hit. - Maelle has 19,000 HP, meaning she has to miss 4 parries in a row to die. - (Probably more, because on NG+5 you have higher-level Pictos with better Stats.) - Even then, you'll trigger SOS Shielding Tint 8 times first. Each heals fully and gives 2 Shields. - So, you'll have to miss 4 + (2 + 4) x 8 = 52 times in a row to die. - On NG+5 with max Speed and Greater Rush, Simon can play at most two turns in a row. - His attacks are multi-hit, with his long combo hitting *at most* 24 times. - Considering that Maelle fully heals with Clea's Life and that he never plays twice in a row if you maximize your Speed + Greater Rush + Greater Slow (even on NG+5), you should manage to practice for a while before you run out of Tints as long as you manage to land a few parries. *Health or Defense Pictos?* - Tbh I am not really sure. - In the video, I max Health on Maelle (and a bit of Defense), and do the opposite for Verso. - I tried maxxing Defense and the result was: half HP and half damage. So I guess it doesn't really matter. *Alternative Build* - Verso with Esquiso, Luminas to shoot a lot, Revive Paradox, and Light Holder. - Get to Rank A with free aim, use Light Holder for Rank S, parry or die/revive. - It won't work against Simon, though, because Simon will play immediately after Verso revives (before Revive Paradox). - It won't work against Lampmaster too, because Revive Paradox won't work on its special turns. - Do not equip Cheater against Duolliste, or it will ignore Revive Paradox during his second phase. - In general, it's a much slower build and I don't recommend it, because Verso will die much more easily than Maelle (no Shields on parry).
