Partial Ordering is a way of structuring a set that has a relation defined on it. x divides y and x is less than or equal to y are examples of partial orderings.
In this video, I touch on all of the basics of partial orders: definitions, examples, comparable elements, minimal and maximal elements and Hasse diagrams. This video should give you the conceptual background and vocabulary to deal with and discuss partial orderings on relations.
