In this MERN Tutorial we will learn how to pass data between React UI and MongoDB Atlas. We will build a simple app that will allow you to:
- post data from React User Interface (Form) to MongoDB Atlas through Node/Express js
- get data from MongoDB Atlas to React User Interface through Node/Express js
In this video we will be using the following npm packages:
- express
- mongoose
- cors
- axios
- bootstrap
- react-router-dom
Prerequisites:
I assume you already know how to create separate React Apps, Express Apps, how to create cluster in MongoDB Atlas and how to connect MongoDB Atlas to express server using mongoose.
