Patch Jeans with Hand Embroidery | Visible Mending Tutorial

Got a hole in your favourite jeans? Don't toss them. Visible mending is a great way to repair clothing while adding something that actually looks intentional, and this tutorial walks you through the whole process from start to finish. We're patching a knee hole using a denim scrap tucked behind the opening, then stitching a geometric pattern on top using WonderFil® Eleganza™ Perle Cotton in a chartreuse and pink colour combo. To transfer the design cleanly, we're using the WonderFil® Rinse Away Design Sheet™, which lets you print your pattern directly and stitch right over it. Once you're done, it washes away completely. Whether you want a subtle repair or something that really stands out, the same technique works.
