I wanted to compare patching in the freeware version of IDA to Ghidra. I'm sure that I'm missing something on exporting my patched file in Ghidra - or maybe it really isn't meant to do that type of thing.
Either way, IDA was dead simple to do and worked flawlessly.
Thanks again to the user who commented me and pointed me in the right direction to get the 32 bit app running. I incorrectly credited StackOverflow with providing me the answer to getting the 32 bit app to run on 64 bit Ubuntu. My solution came from the ask ubuntu site, link below:
