Pathological myopia is characterized by deformity of the eye, as represented by posterior staphyloma. This deformity damages the optic nerve and retina in the eye, causing visual impairment. Advances in imaging techniques such as 3D MRI and ultra wide angle OCT have revealed when and how the eye is deformed and damages the nerve tissue. In this talk, Prof Kyoko will present
