'Pathos' August 22, 2025 https://yh.fanlink.tv/Pathos 13 simple guitar songs. I have tried to express the stagnant and soft parts of my crumpled heart without concealment or timidity. In a sense, this album is a back-to-the-basic kind of thinking for me, but it also feels fresh, as if I took a bold new step forward. Where am I going from here? I am very happy to be able to express myself “now” here, not knowing even a little bit about the future. This is me. For the artwork, I used photographs taken by my longtime friend Ruka Ohta based on images that came to him when he heard the sound of this album. I think this beautiful photo of artwork that will help this album remain in the world for a long time. Thanks my man. There's really only so much I can do in this world. Breathe tight, play guitar, look up at the sky. Burning sadness and using the charcoal to make dots or lines on a blank piece of paper. Existence is born, and at the same time, a shadow is created. It is a sure sign that there is light. All of the songs are composed entirely of guitars, most of them with only one or two guitar layers. Just simple, deeply dive inside my own heart and hear my voice. It is very easy and sometimes so difficult. It's just like life, right? Thanks music, I love you.
