Pathways to Empowered Learning: Cognitive Strategies, Metacognition & Inclusive Practice was presented to Get SET (Skills, Education, and Training) programs in the province of Ontario in March of 2026. This PD session introduced six key cognitive processes that influence learning and introduced how metacognition, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and targeted scaffolding can reduce barriers and build learner confidence.
