Paul Allen Animation

Paul Allen was an American animator at Walt Disney Studios. He started work as early as 1933 to 1948. Not much is known about Paul after he left Disney, but he animated almost exclusively for characters like Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse and is considered by J.B. Kaufman as one of the “Duck men:” animators integral for fleshing out the format and personality of the early Donald Duck shorts. His work is composed mainly of key posing, which leaves his animation having a very spontaneous sense of rhythm for fast energetic scenes. He also employs a uniformed sense of timing, visually appealing and excelling in scenes with walks and dancing.
