The Papua New Guinea teachers association acting general manager Kingston Alu has called on the Treasury and finance departments to pay the prolonged three per cent increment for teachers.
He made this call after intimidations made by teachers to go on strike if the government failed to fulfil its commitment signed through a Memorandum of understanding last year in December.
