PC-BASIC Lesson#1: Some important concepts of programming. This lesson is a part of series of lessons made for school students or for those who want to clear their programming concept before working on some advanced language like python, Java etc. These lessons are being developed to support our text-based lessons available on www.ourschoolteacher.com. The site is under development. However, the basic structure is complete and we are posting lessons/blogs/worksheets/video lessons as soon as we complete them. Computer Languages are used to make programs. BASIC stands for Beginners All-Purpose Symbolic Instruction Code. It is an old programming language developed in the 60's era. However, still, it is a good and easy computer language to understand simple and easy programming techniques like SEQUENCE, LOOPS AND CONDITIONS. Since 60's many variants have come into the market like BASICA, QBASIC. The old BASIC language was developed for old operating systems like DOS which can not be run on today's 32 or 64 bit OS. For today's windows operating system user, PC-BASIC is suitable. This lesson defines some basic definitions and rules to work in PC-BASIC language necessary to know before start working on it.
