Play SPEED Control: Click the Cog and select desired speed Video demonstrates using a 3D Box Enclosure on Kicad PCB Sometimes it's useful for variety of reasons and can use either Stock Purchased boxes and/or 3D-Printed boxes. For those interested in using real dimensions for the PCB shape and Importing it prior to making the Box Footprint (thus, enabling the Custom PCB Shape to be added during the Box Footprint making, See this Post (for straight-forward tutorial): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aP5XTjfg_Bg ) Or, See this Post for further PCB tweaks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXuMqS_x6Yo). It gets added in the Properties Panel. So, you'll adjust it's Z-height instead of the Default PCB). My system is setup to Toggle item visibility by using the spacebar - that's why they're getting hidden in front of your eyes ;-) Note: Not included in Video but, a curious person will realize can do similar process for other types of items such as Threaded Inserts, Knobs... Making the Hole/other: In FreeCad, Add a 'Body' to the Tree and select it to Activate it. Click the desired item needing a Hole/Cutout and select Copy. Paste it into the new Body. Now, you can select a surface to Sketch a Hole/Cutout and cut a hole as normally done in FreeCad.
