Multiple images of a peacock feather can be combined. I try a few functions in the AmScope software, then a free program called Picolay. I prefer Picolay's result. The lighting was done with a strong LED flashlight at 10x objective (100x total) magnification.
A final brightness and saturation adjustment darken the background and bring out the colors.
