Everybody thinks they’re smart And everyone else is crazy From my point of view they’re all alike, Two bucks short and a tad too lazy It’s lonesome livin’ without ‘em God knows ya can’t live with ‘em They can’t never be satisfied With whatever you go and give ‘em What the heck can we do with people They’ll never get things right Could we have ‘em all committed Is it really worth the fight Are they even worth the savin’ Should we love ‘em or set ‘em all ablaze As a lawyer friend once said I feel strongly - both ways They’re wrong ninety percent of the time Never learn nothin’ ‘cept the hard way Never willing to learn what it takes But insist on having their say Some are wild-man crazy Most are hopeless outta touch The only time they tell the truth Is when they drink too much Repeat chorus If people didn’t think I’s moon-struck I’d go liv with dogs and cats Give up on the dang human race But even I’d think I’s completely bats Repeat chorus + Then again, whatever the question was I feel strongly - both ways
