Perfect「Chihayafuru」

"what you want, what you need has been killing me. and i will change anything you want me to be" --- Hi! This video has been sitting on my computer for more than 2 years, and in a way, it has been "done" for almost 6 months now. I wasn't satisfied with how it had actually turned out and never uploaded it. I was going through my projects and opened this one back up and decided to finish it for good, and here we are! I love this anime with all my heart, and I wanted to make a great amv for it. I love this song, and I think it works well to convey what i want. In our culture today, we are usually guilty of overlooking the plot of something and instead focusing on the romance aspect and pairing characters off with eachother. I know I'm guilty, and this is sort of what I wanted to convey with this AMV. Chihaya loves nothing more than karuta, and her greatest desire is to be playing the sport with her two best friends. Taichi and Arata both have feelings for her, and they misinterpret her actions as signs of feelings for them, but in fact, Chihaya's greatest wish is only to play karuta with them again. They both realize this and begin playing once more. I hope that made sense, I usually feel like I'm talking in circles lol.
