Jesus speaks just moments (hours) before his arrest and eventual crucifixion. What does he communicate with his closest friends? What would you say to friends if you knew your death was hours away? He gives them something they must do (not an option). He then explains to them what they can absolutely expect to happen. They could count on it. John 15:12ff
