Perthshire artist Nigel Ross talks about large-scale wood sculpture. His influences are Pictish art, the Perthshire landscape, nature, and the spirit of the wood.
Nigel is seen sanding a piece to make it ready in time for Perthshire Open Studios. It had been carved with a chainsaw and allowed to dry indoors for two years.
