The emotions can be felt through the poet's poem. Šimić's poems are reflecting the emotions of the people during the War. In the same way, I thought about editing a small story with Yuna and Noctis. Like, Noctis is somehow returning from the death and wants to be close to her. ~Emotions: Love: the poet's wish to be close to his beloved one Suffering: the emotion he felt because of the distance, he can't be with her Pain: like Suffering, the poet feels a huge pain living without her Struggling: the fight inside of him, he wants to eb with her, but he can't Death: all the bad emotions above in a single emotion ________________________________________ Is anything better than reading poems whenever you feel the right moment for them? Last year, on Croatian language, we talked about a person, a young man, who lived at the beginning of the 20th century. He was really a revolutionary person for our national literature. He was a young poet who died very young (at the age of 27), but what he left behind was a treasure. A collection of poems titled "Moja Probraženja", or translated "My Transfiguration". This collection is what reflects the fear and the struggle of the people during the World War I. Expressionism was a modernist movement (1910-1924) who wanted to tell to the people the deepest emotions of the poets (fear, struggle, hunger, agony, ...). The poet is Antun Branko Šimić, and it's one of the most important and amazing poets in our entire Croatian literature. I was honored to do a seminar about him and I was amazed by the beauty of his poems. The poem in the video is one of those: it's titled "Povratak" or "Return". It's such a wonderful poem, a true diamond in his collection. A love letter, in the same time, a farewell note for a young lady. There are no translatons of his poems, and I am sorry for that :( All of them are stunning. I've tried to translate this one, and I hope I did well. ________________________________________ RETURN You do not bode My return and my nearness.
