AC Phantom Load Test Kit is used for testing of Energy Meter. Specification : Input : 415 V , 3 ph, 4 wire, 50 Hz, AC A. Voltage Output - 0-300 V AC per phase i) For regulation control, Variac is provided in each phase for smooth variation of voltage output upto 0 – 125% of rated voltage (KWH Meter) and also Phase Shifting facilities are provided in the voltage circuit by which phase angle can be adjusted in individual phases between 0° – 360° in steps of 60° by coarse control rotary switch and 0° – 60° in 1° resolution by fine control knob. ii) 1 no. Three Phase Digital type Voltmeter having range of 0-300 V AC. Accuracy Class : 1 % B. Current Output : 10A,20A,80A (Three Ranges) i) For regulation control, full range coarse control from 0 – 125% ii) 1 no. Three Phase Digital type Ammeter having range of 0 – 6.25 Amps, Display 125% Starting Current : 0.5%, 0.75% & 1% of the Range. 3 Nos. Meter can be tested at a time. The Bench type cabinet of the test set comprises of Mains ON, voltage ON & current ON indication. The mains supply is fed through MCB. Current Output will be available through the corresponding output terminal from tapped secondary winding of current loading transformer (which is of suitable capacity) which can be selected by a rotary switch. Current is controlled independently in the three phases. Suitable terminals are there for main input voltage output reference meter and wattmeter. ON /OFF switches, fuses, MCB and indicating lamps are also present. A switch is provided to select the starting current of 0.50%, 0.75% & 1% of rated current. Static transformer type 3 phase phase shifter is provided to vary the power factor which is adjustable to any value between 0° – 360° by coarse and fine control to adjust power factor. Independent current control will be provided in three phases. M.S. wheels are provided at the bottom of powder coated cabinet for easy mobility. Metering : I) One 3 Phase Digital Voltmeter is provided to measure the output voltage. II) One 3 Phase Digital Ammeter is provided to measure the output current. III) One 3 Phase Digital Power Factor Meter is provided. Protection : I)HRC Fuse will be provided in input side as a Input side protection. Overload and short circuit protection is provided in Voltage Output as well as Current Output.
