This one is a little busy and messy in stereo but I am getting closer to the sound I've been trying to find with this setup! Digitakt samples are all OP-1 through my pedal board and the Digitakt runs into the AV Dogs on Plumbutter. I'm using the random LFO on Phenol at audio rate to modulate the AV dogs VCA section. This is similar to using dust but I found it to have a different vibe and it's nice being able to tame it with the Phenol VCA's. I've used a midi track on Digitakt to simply get gates for Plumbutter's MWRS. I set the probability super low so that the likelihood of a gate is rare BUT they'll always be in time. TMWRS then feeds a bunch of stuff, particularly the "freeze" gates of Coco, flip n skip & the castle inputs. There's a few clicks n pops coming from the gongues and ultrasounds, as well as some "sequenced" Deerhorn which is fed a field recording of the rain on my phone. Lastly, I've taken the 2 phenol oscillators and patched them to the snare VCA in the mixer section to create a drone. This audio rate modulation can be heard even when the snare isn't being triggered but eventually I do start triggering the snare. I used each of the Phenol's self cycling envelopes to get some subtle slow pitch modulation on each of those oscillators and they go in and out of phase which creates a ton of subtle movement. I think that's about it! Hope you enjoy
