The photometer SDM 1 has been developed especially for the determination of the sperm
concentration in ejaculates of domestic animals. The photometer uses a 546 nm filter for the
turbidity measurement. A zero measurement is automatically performed; therefore the need for
repeated calibrations is reduced to almost zero.
