Photoshop Elements 26.1 Change Background with AI

In this video I demonstrate the latest enhancement added to the first dot release update to Photoshop Elements since the release of the 2026 version in early October. In this November update we can now change an image background using generative AI. This version also fixes a number of known bugs. #photoshopelements Generative AI (text to image) compliments the built-in abstract backgrounds, solid color or transparent background. It’s also possible to use your own photo or one of the many images available from Adobe Stock.
