LYRICS: Whats up yall, Im figgina show you da notion Of da reasons why we even have forces and motion If you dont know da 3 laws, let me splain His name is sir Issac Newton, hes off da chain! My man Newton understood da way things move And these aint theories, they have been proved Newtons 1st law says objects at rest will stay at rest, not moving, unless They acted upon by an unbalanced force And a force is a push or a pull, of course When forces are balanced, the objects movement doesnt change The motion is constant, it remains the same When forces are unbalanced, objects will move They can fly, fall, jump, dive, wiggle, and groove! An object in motion will stay in motion Unless an outside force produces some commotion They call this 1st law, Inertia. Say what? Inertia means that things like to say da way dey was. Whew! Now you know about Newtons 1st law Now let me thrill you with Newtons 2nd law In short, force equals mass times acceleration Memorize this equation, shout it out to da nations! The larger the object, the more force it needs It takes more force to lift a plant, than it does to lift the seeds If you cruisin in a Hummer, you cant stop as fast Then if you rollin in a Smart Car, cuz yo car got less mass What? You mean theres physics in my ride? Newtons laws are all around you, even in da west side! So now we done with da second and we on to #3 Believe me, #3 is about equality Forces always come in pairs—for every action There is an equal and opposite reaction Like when a ball rolls, it stops due to fraction, I meant friction, not fraction thats a math term! The world around you has a very strong attraction Its known as gravity, its never out of fashion So every pair of forces in my recollection They always equal and opposite in direction! So let me see you move like you got some energy Kinetic energy, potential energy It is potential when yo body stores da energy It is kinetic when you choose to use dat energy There is a synergy between these two energies They flock together like da biggity birds and da bees They go together like peanut butter and jelly The two are homies like Mario and Luigi!
