Pickerington is located in Fairfield County, Ohio. Pickerington began with the early settlement in the early 1800's, which at the time was Violet Township named for the abundance of wildflowers. Because of this it is often called the "Violet Capital of Ohio". The town was first platted as Jacksonville by Abraham Pickerington in 1815, but residents changed the name to Pickerington in 1827 to honor Abraham Pickerington. Pickerington has a charming historic downtown, has numerous parks, and a variety of community events. "Fiiz Drinks" was so good but talk about a brain freeze. I found myself having to take breaks between the sips, but it was so good. I could not stop myself. If you're in the area be sure to try one, let me know how you like it.
