This special grinding setup allows the OD to reach extremely low surface roughness -below a 0.07 micrometer
On the the conveyor belt the pins go through 6 different wet grinding wheels with gradual smaller grains
This grinding chain is mostly used for the manufacturing of piston pins where accuracy is key.
