Enjoying the fruits of my labor. I cut up and hauled some pin oak logs in February. I cut it down to 16 inch lengths, and split it down. Let it season til June and the moisture content was reading 5%. Having a test burn, and stacking sticks in opposing directions on each layer stacked, leaving them an inch apart for flame and gas to rise.
