Having worked in interior design for several years, I saw the value in traditional, well made furniture that is built to last, over our increasingly throw away culture. When my partner and I bought our first house it was empty! Without the budget or the inclination for a massive shopping spree, I started updating old pieces that were kindly gifted to us, and finding pieces on their way to the tip that I could renovate. I loved upcycling them to suit our style, and I got so addicted I had to start selling my work to make room! And so Holly's Design was born!
