This recipe is very popular when who go to Taiwan. This is a favorite pasalubong. You can find them almost everywhere. There are also many many versions. Each bakery claims theirs is the best. This is not actually a cake. I would rather call this a pastry. This is one of the recipes that I was able to get right the first time I tried it.
