This is the first module in the Public Library Partnerships Project curriculum, given by Jennifer Birnel, Director of the Montana Memory Project. It shares ideas about the advantages and challenges of digitization projects, as well as some questions to consider as they get started. The Public Library Partnerships Project curriculum is intended for cultural heritage professionals who are newcomers to digitization. It was designed to provide useful conceptual and practical information about each stage of the process to a beginner audience.
