Join Gabriel Díaz Maggioli as he delves into lesson planning. Most of our daily planning focuses on what we want to do so that students achieve learning outcomes. However, Gabriel questions how many times we really put ourselves into our learners' shoes while planning.
In this session we explore how people learn and, therefore, how they might be taught. By the end of the webinar, you will have ideas on how to create learning-centred lesson plans, teaching and assessment strategies.
Our speaker:
Gabriel Díaz Maggioli is a teacher who applies the lessons learned in the classroom to his roles as teacher educator, researcher and author. He is currently academic coordinator of the post-graduate Diploma in English language teaching at Universidad ORT Uruguay. He was President of IATEFL from 2019–2024.
