A simple plastic part, made to customer specifications in a 4-up cluster vice, provided by Lang work holding. Notable features in this program are the use of through spindle coolant, high feed end mills, and individual tool paths accomplishing work on multiple parts negating lifts. At the end of the cycle a fan is used to clear chips, reducing operator cycle change time. Other contributing technologies are a Reneshaw touch probe, laser tool offset system, Shunk hydraulic tool holders, Lang work holding, Lang chip clearing fan.
