PLC Programming; How to program a Mixing Tank PLC; Process Automation

➢ When the “start” button is pressed solenoids A & B energize thus permitting the two liquids to begin filling the tank. ➢ When the tank is filled, the float switch trips thus de-energizing solenoids A & B and starts the agitation motor to mix the two liquids together. ➢ The agitator runs for 1 minute and after 1 minute has elapsed the motor turns off and solenoid C is energized to drain the tank. ➢ When the tank is empty, the float switch de-energize solenoid C thus closing the drain valve. ➢ A “stop” button can be used to stop the process at any point. ➢ Once the circuit has been switched on it will continue to operate until it is manually stopped. #industrialautomation #plcprogramming #ladderlogic #simaticmanager
