Lewis Baarda is joined by Dr. Mark Johnson, from Ensemble Scientific, to discuss the technology behind Variable Rate Irrigation. This project aims to advance the technology behind variable rate irrigation by bridging the gap between sensors in-field and on the irrigation systems. Ensemble Scientific is a partner on this study, as well as LiteFarm, and working with Farming Smarter on developing the technology to benefit farmers in southern Alberta.
