Welcome back to the channel on today’s video we got two taps to sort out one is constantly running and the other ones flexible hoses look like they’re about to burst. I’m also gonna show you the best Plumbing hack that every plumber should know and that is installing your taps with the hardware already attached which can save you some FAF and hassle of losing the hardware down the back of the units and this trick can be used on kitchen taps and also some basins. The tools that I use to fit my tabs are from Nerrad this is the tappex kit what I really like about this kit is that it can extends to whatever height and size you need and also you have the option of either using a ratchet or a screwdriver type. The sockets are really deep in the extension kit and that allows for the bolt to go all the way through, especially when you’re doing kitchen sink taps as a Threads can be really long.. On the kitchen sink, somebody’s been doing some work on these taps before and they’ve just used whatever they could find inside their van to make up the distance from the isolators to the flexible hoses so what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna show you installing some new butterfly isolation valves And how to extend up to the flexible hoses properly using some fittings from Viega. These have a flat surface on the male thread and a press fitting on the other one. The basin tap isn’t cost-effective to fix as you have to try and source out which cartridges will fit inside so we’re just take them off and install a new basin tap . Same again as before using the press connectors to get from the new isolation valves up to the flexes and that’s both top jobs done.
