Pneumatic Pump Issue

I need your help to troubleshoot an issue that I am having with a LEGO Pneumatic Pump. The pump is from set 9641 (LEGO Education Mechanisms Pneumatics Add-On Set) and has the BrickLink ID x191c01 (http://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=x191c01&idColor=15). If you have experienced a similar problem, or have a solution, please leave a message in the comments of this video. Thanks in advance. Update 1: I have taken some close-up macro photos of the pneumatic pump, and it appears that there is a crack rather than a round pin-hole.
