Podmores automatic clip insertion system

A Podmores automatic clip insertion system comprising Vision Selection System, comprising one magazine press assembly, two vibratory linear feeders, two vibratory bowl feeders, one flighted belt hopper loader and one control panel. The system starts with both plastic and metal components being orientated in the bowl feeders. Once orientated they move along the linear feeder and into the magazine press assembly. The press assembly pushes the two together, checks that they have been joined correctly, opens the metal component to the desired amount and ejects the complete assembly. The system operates at 30-40 assemblies per minute and is designed for continuous operation with minimal operator assistance.
