POE Clocks are ideal for a number of organizations that need accurate time displays. More information at, https://www.innovationwireless.com/products/poe-clocks.html or call us at 888-559-5565 With PoE clocks, the master clock is the time source. Traditionally, with a wired clock system, you would have one clock that would control all the secondary clocks. The master clock would use a correction method to ensure that the secondary clocks would display at the same time. In a Poe clock system, the time source is the master clock. This time source can be an internal Network Time Protocol server or it can be a government time source on the internet. An Internal NTP server would probably be a time source for everything on the network. The clock system would be one of many items that pull time from that server. In reality, most devices on a network must have a time source,. An individual PoE clock will have a number of trusted government time sites stored on its webpage and upon power-up would retrieve its time from one of these sites. It would go out the UDP 123 port on your router, capture the time, and disconnect. The reliable time source provides the accuracy and reliability of any master clock system. The available clock selection includes both analog and LED Digital clocks. The analog version includes 13 inches and 16 inches. The LED Digital includes 2.5-inch and 4-inch digits. They operate on IEEE802.3af or IEEE802.3at standards. The IP Digital Clock monitoring software will register all PoE and Wi-Fi clocks when they join the network. The software allows you to control the LED Digitals display, brightness, and the ability to schedule countdowns. There are a number of clock systems in today's market, however, one of the fastest-growing systems is a POE clock system.
