Rohith Suram (M.S. 2023) explains how to import an existing PLOT3D grid file into Pointwise and then into the ANSYS Fluent. If the simulation is not done using the ANSYS Fluent (e.g., CharlesX, HTR, ...), one has to define all the boundaries before exporting the grid in Pointwise so that the boundary surface can be recognized by a downstream flow solver.
